Social class:  B because they would have the money to go to the gym and have the money to eat well.
Lifestyle: people would choose this lifestyle because they would desire to physical attractive



This magazine would appeal to people who are interested in working out at the gym and drinking protein  drinks so this is how the magazine would be branded.
This magazine would help people which fat people to become muscular and physical attractive.

Budget and pitch a new Science Fiction film for $100 million

Science Fiction sub-genre: Time travelling and action

Brief narrative (plot) - max 50 words: Their is a black teenage boy who has been failing is GCSE . So he asks his teacher to create a time machine , then he would go back in time to revise. However, he going back to 1914 and kills A.Helter. The black teen boy is going to be played by Kevin Hart.

District 9


 Genre
District 9(2009) fits into Aliens invasion and has an element of mutation sub-genre. Another sub-genre would be thriller.The movie has an extra-terrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly finds a kindred spirit in a government agent who is exposed to their biotechnology. District 9 is 15 aged rated movie, this is because their is strong language and a lot of action. 
Key conventions

District 9 is based on Aliens and how they are creating their species by using humans. In this movie it shows an advancement in technology. It has robotic suits, alien space ship and alien language. The refugee camp where the aliens were located has deteriorated into a militarized ghetto called District 9

Elysium

Genre:
In the year 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Delacourt, a government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. Chappie

Language 
The title "The Matrix" the font is futuristic and tag-line "the fight for the future begins" allows the audience to feel a part of the movie.
Also entices the audience to understand it is a futuristic movie, release date and billing block (information about the Director and the production company) all follow the expected codes and conventions of a film poster .

The film was produced by Joel Silver (for Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc) who are associated with sc-fi. It was executively Directed by Lana Wachowski who is a well known director. 
Audience
This  is movie seems to be a film which is based for  mixed gender because the main character is a man which has a gun showing the audience that he is in-powered and in the poster there is a female character and she has a pistol in her pistol this my target female audience

Representation
The focal picture shows a male in a dominant position with female on his side. There is a male in the background behind the main character which is perhaps unusual, also in the background there shows data in the form of symbols. This is represented as computers and futuristic tech

  1. Why did you choose GCSE Media Studies?
I choose media studies because it will help me to understand and use Photoshop. I picked Media because I would like to understand how people interpret media. Also, I picked media because I did ICT last year and this will benefit my computing skills.

   2. Which part of the course are you looking forward to most?
The parts of the course I am looking forward to is creating the magazine with Photoshop and creating a music video with my friends.

   3. What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media?
I hope I will be able to use advance techniques with Photoshop and Fireworks; how to create a music video and edit it using window movie maker.

      4. What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media?
My prediction for Media would be an A* however getting an A would be satisfactory

      5.What was the last TV programme or film you watched?
The last TV show I watched was Arrow because of the action and sc-fi
