Michael Joseph Jackson was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor. Called the King of Pop, his contributions to music and dance. Michael Jackson was very creative as he created his music videos like Thriller and Smooth Criminal.This music video was taken in one location but had a lot of actors dancing.The genre of this music video was electro funk.This was produced by Quincy Jones a famous music producer. 
Michael Jackson decided that costumes should relate to the lyrics of the song so he wore a white suit distinguishing him from the other dancers and making him give the impression of a "Smooth Criminal"

 Eminem has made a career of rapping and creating memorable music videos like Not Afraid. This music video begins with Eminem on the edge of a room ,singing I'm not a afraid. This shows that the lyrics  and the name of the music video are relate to the music video. The video uses a lot of close ups to try and allow the audience to understand that Eminem is the main character and they use a lot of close to show facial expression. In 1:52 of Not Afraid it shows Eminem in a medium shot showing his hand gestures.

  Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Their genre are electronic rock ,nu metal and rap rock.The official music video is directed by Joe Hahn( one of the members of linkin park).The video features the entire band performing the song in darkness along with digital effects and distortion applied to them. In 0.47 seconds of the music video it shows the lead singer Chester Bennington being applied with digital effects.

This was the second single released from Dangerous. The song was written and composed by Teddy Riley, Michael Jackson and Bernard Belle. It was an attempt at connecting the smooth New Jack Swing sound that Riley was renowned for, with Jackson's more earthy R&B.
The expensive video set in ancient Egypt was directed by John Singleton and starred Eddie Murphy, Magic Johnson, and the Somali fashion model Iman, who married David Bowie in 1992. In the video, Iman plays the object of desire, and while Jackson had leading ladies in previous videos, including "Thriller" and "The Way You Make Me Feel," this was the first time he shared a kiss on screen. Kelly's manager if Kelly would write a song for him after hearing his hit record "Bump And Grind." R Kelly went straight into the studio and came up with this song. Michael Jackson then joined R. Kelly in Chicago to record the track and asked Kelly to provide backing vocals.

Brief narrative (plot) - max 50 words: Their is a black teenage boy who has been failing is GCSE . So he asks his teacher to create a time machine , then he would go back in time to revise. However, he going back to 1914 and kills A.Helter. The black teen boy is going to be played by Kevin Hart.

District 9

 Genre

District 9(2009) fits into Aliens invasion and has an element of mutation sub-genre. Another sub-genre would be thriller.The movie has an extra-terrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly finds a kindred spirit in a government agent who is exposed to their biotechnology. District 9 is 15 aged rated movie, this is because their is strong language and a lot of action. 

Key conventions

District 9 is based on Aliens and how they are creating their species by using humans. In this movie it shows an advancement in technology. It has robotic suits, alien space ship and alien language. The refugee camp where the aliens were located has deteriorated into a militarized ghetto called District 9

Elysium

Genre:
In the year 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Delacourt, a government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. In this movie,the scientifically themes are , creating robots to help the traveller ( which are travelling the universe to find a new planet for humans), there are alternative dimensions.

The target audience   for this movie are  for teenage 12A + . This movie has a unique  and futuristic story line which could be understood by teenagers.This movie has an incredible amount of drama and adventure , featuring time travel and futuristic rockets
